An Edwardsville man claims he was hurt when he was rear-ended while stopped at a red light.
Zachary R. Allison filed a lawsuit July 26 in Madison County Circuit Court against Renee M. Barker.
Allison says he was driving south on North Main Street in Edwardsville in August 2011 when he had to stop behind traffic at a red light. Allison claims Barker was also driving south but failed to stop for traffic and crashed into the back of Allison’s car.
Allison accuses Barker of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, loss of income and court costs. Attorney Bob L. Perica, of Wood River, represents Allison.
